Edited on March 5, 2013. I added more chili powder than I had before. If you do not like food that spicy just cut back on the amount of chili powder.
With fall in the air it’s time for us to pull out the crockpot.
Personally I love nothing more in the Fall and Winter than putting items in a crockpot in the morning and letting the wonderful aroma of whatever I am making fill the house all day. Then at night, when it gets chilly we have an amazing warm meal!!
This is my “go to” recipe for Clean Eating White Chicken Chili! It literally takes me 5 minutes to put everything in then crockpot. It’s very simple.
Ingredients
1 jar northern white beans 48 ounce jar
3 chicken breasts boneless
2 garlic cloves crushed
1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon cumin
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup water
Instructions
Put all ingredients in a crock pot and cook on high for 6 hours. The chicken will then be tender enough to cut up in the crock pot with a fork.
If you do not own a crockpot you simply do not know what you are missing.
Yields: 6.
If you try it and you like it, please leave a comment below this post. Thank you.
