I used to get so tired of throwing out herbs that didn’t get used before they went bad. I even considered for a moment not using fresh herbs anymore, but that’s just nonsense.
I read about this trick and I thought I would give it a try.

Photo on the left is basil I bought 2 months ago. Take it like you buy it at the store and put it in a jar and then clip some holes in a ziplock bag and put it over it and then place it in your window and it will keep for along time.
The image on the right is of green onions I bought at the same time.
The tops are a little brown but as you can see they are still fresh and ready to use.
